Demonstrative Pronouns!
Demonstratives indicate proximity of the things talked about. When they function as pronouns they usually go next to the verb.
Éste es el más barato. This one is the cheapest. (masculine singular) Éstos no me gustan.
I don't like these. (masculine plural) Ésta es mi esposa. This is my wife. (feminine singular) Éstas son de cuero y éstas son de tela. These are of leather and these are of cloth.
(feminine plural)
Esto can be applied to either feminine or masculine.

Not that one. The red one. Diana: ¿Este?
