Necesitar imperfect conjugation

 Necesitar means to need.
  necesitar is a regular -ar verb.
   To say you used to need or you were needing,
    use the imperfect ending.

yo necesitaba I was needing
necesitabas you were needing
Ud./él/ella necesitaba you were /he/she was needing
nosotros/as necesitábamos we were needing
vosotros/as necesitabais you guys were needing
Uds./ellos/ellas necesitaban you all/they were needing

Sentences using necesitar in the imperfect tense

Lo necesitaba rápido.
      I was needing it fast.

Juan encontró la llave que necesitabas.
      Juan found the key that you were needing.

Yo compré la medicina que María necesitaba.
      I bought the medicine that Maria was needing.

Nosotros necesitábamos muchas cosas.
      We were needing many things.

¿Necesitabais las sábanas?
      Were you all needing the sheets?

Ustedes necesitaban comida.
      You all were needing food. (formal)
