Nunca me había puesto a pensar en diez años más que lo que estaría haciendo, pero creo que si Dios quiere rodeada de mi familia, de mis hijas, de mis yernos, de mis nietos, que tengo tres nietos, a lo mejor voy a tener otros más si Dios quiere. Y contenta, feliz con mi marido, espero estar teniendo con él, ya llevo treinta y dos años de casada. Y espero que, que mi vida sea así, y yo creo que aprovechando además de todas las cosas buenas que se esté inventando para que uno esté mejor en esta tierra.

El "Diario del Comercio" es un diario que tiene 157 años de antigüedad en el país. Es uno de los primeros diarios de Sudamérica. Tiene muchas secciones. Estas secciones varían dependiendo del día. Pero vamos a hablar específicamente del día domingo, que es él que tiene el mayor número de secciones. La sección "A", que tiene todo lo que vendría a ser noticias nacionales. Donde está la parte política, la parte local, tiene la parte policial. Tenemos la sección "B", que es toda la parte internacional. Tenemos la sección "C" que es donde se habla de todo lo que es crónicas y dentro de ellas están todo lo que es espectáculos. También tenemos la sección "D". La sección "D" es una sección que está dedicada prácticamente a la sección metropolitana. Y hablar de la sección metropolitana, allí estamos hablando de todo lo que es referente a los aspectos que tengan que ver con mejoras de en cada uno de los distritos que hay en la ciudad de Lima. El diario, es el que sale a nivel nacional, tiene mayor aceptación y venta en la capital.

El editor tiene que recibir… escoger las noticias que vienen de los servicios de todo el mundo y traducirlas al español o hacer que alguno de los traductores que trabajan en el servicio latinoamericano las traduzca al español. Luego las noticias que vienen originalmente en español de diversos países de América Latina, pues el editor tiene que corregirlas, asegurarse de que van a ser entendidas por personas de otros lugares. Tiene que decidir si la noticia vale la pena, si es algo que puede intersarle a un lector o a un cliente de un país distinto del país donde se originó. Y si hay alguna duda, pues normalmente se llama al periodista y se conversa con él para sugerirle cambios, etcétera.
