The teachers were incredible. I just got back and am already making plans to go back during Christmas. They all are so patient and friendly. I learned a ton in two weeks. Three thumbs up. Homestay awesome.
Evaluation from Lalo:
This was by far the best experience of my life. After spending a couple of years with continuing education courses I was getting frustrated because my Spanish wasn’t improving. Two weeks in Ensenada cured my ills. The teachers are the best part of this school. In two weeks I worked with 6 different instructors who all were marvelous. Now I comfortably speak Spanish. I highly recommend the Baja Language College in Ensenada. My homestay was also excellent. Lolita was always happy to take me to town to shop for gifts or just to go out for a margarita, listen to mariachis and practice Spanish. She also cooked great seafood and prepared hand made tortillas. The best value around. And the best kept secret. Group classes were small. (Plus, I fell in love with Ensenada and in Ensenada) Eddie Z .
Evaluation from sinclair:
I have been to this school many times over the years and have always left having learned more. The home stays are very good, and the best is the quality of the teachers who are superb.
Evaluation from Alemana:
I went from very beginner level to being able to work in Spanish within about a dozen visits ranging from 3 to 7 days over a 3 year span. The school's curriculum is expertly tailored to integrate grammar, structure and vocabulary lessons with real life comprehension and expression. I worked with many different teachers and enjoyed working with every one. I highly recommend the home stay with a family. The school administration matched my personal style and preferences with host families. I always felt like a welcome family member and learned a lot more by adding home stay to school hours. I still return to Baja California Language College for refresher lessons that keep me at top level. By the way: I am female and always traveled to Ensenada alone and I never once encountered a security or safety problem! Just following common sense precaution kept me perfectly safe.
