I attended the Latin American Spanish School for 3 weeks. During that time I learned more than a language, I learned about a culture and had fun doing it. In order to describe the experience I would need to break it down into three areas. 1.) The school and instructors. 2.) The hosting family 3.) The area The school and the instructors are a great group of people who put their all into making sure you learn and look out for your well being. I discovered that the instructors as a group were owners and operators of the school. Which means they have a vested interest in making sure that you are successful in achieving your goals and are comfortable. The hosting family I stayed with were great! The family was an extended family and I had the opportunity to see things from different perspectives (children are great with helping you learn another language). The entire family was very friendly and helpful and made sure my room was clean and presentable and food was always ready at the designated times. The areas is by far the most peaceful of the towns I visited in Nicaragua. The town people with nice, the food was great and the beach is where I would go to study (life was good). The only time things got crazy was during the week of Santa Ana where people from everywhere descended on this small beach town. Once that week had passed things were back to normal. In summary, I had a great time, learned a lot at a reasonable prince and met some very nice people. I would most definitely do this again. Bill
