Good quality course and teaching for the price. The division of time between grammar and conversation helped to accelerate my progress from a beginner to an intermediate level in only a couple of weeks.

I'd just like to point out that the director of the school (Jose) left the below evaluation, which is odd considering he left a mediocre review in poor English. Seems a bit detrimental if ya ask me! I did not stay with a host family from this school, so accomadation info is N/A. I'm only comparing this school in Ecuador to schools I've been to in Guatemala, where everything is much cheaper. For Quito, this is definitely one of the economical choices. The only activities seem to be salsa lessons which I have yet to try. Again, I'm comparing this to a great school called ICA in Xela where there were tons of afternoon activities, but even if the school doesn't outwardly offer FREE activities, there is plenty to do in the surrounding area (beautiful historic center, fantastic nearby hiking, cultural spots) although the immediate area isn't the most tourist-friendly of spots. The teachers are very personable and welcoming, definitely flexible enough to cater to the needs of each individual student. I've felt comfortable with each of the teachers I had. A big perk is that you can create your own schedule, for as many or few hours that you want, at whatever time you choose. Overall, I'm sure there are better Spanish schools in the world, but if you are definitely coming to study in Quito, I'd recommend Cristóbal Colón!
